Is AI recommending your competitors instead of you?
Run a free audit and see whether AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini can find, understand, and recommend your brand — before you lose the customer who asked.

~48%
of BrightEdge's tracked queries triggered an AI Overview instead of ten blue links, per their February 2026 dataset.
900M+
weekly active ChatGPT users OpenAI reported in Feb 2026 — a direct answer channel traditional SEO doesn't reach.
If AI answers don't mention you, you lose that traffic before a click ever happens — no matter how well you rank in classic search.
Methodology
10 checks, ranked by how much they matter
No black-box score. Each check is labeled by confidence — from documented bot behavior to emerging, unproven practices.
AI accessibility
— Can AI crawlers even reach your content? Documented bot behavior — the highest-confidence tier.robots.txt — Search & Agent bots
Block OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot and you can't be cited in a live answer, period.
robots.txt — Training bots
Lower urgency, but blocking GPTBot/ClaudeBot means future model versions won't know you exist.
Machine understanding
— Signals that help a model parse what your page is about once it can reach it.Structured data (JSON-LD)
LLMs parse schema.org markup to understand what your page is about before they'll cite it.
Entity schema (Organization/Person)
Without this, LLMs struggle to attribute content to a known, citable entity.
Heading structure
A single clear H1 gives crawlers an unambiguous topic signal.
Meta description
Frequently pulled verbatim into AI-generated summaries of your page.
Emerging optimization
— Newer, lower-certainty practices — worth doing, not yet proven to move citation odds.FAQ schema
FAQPage-formatted Q&A is one of the most commonly cited content shapes in AI answers — but no engine confirms it as a ranking input.
llms.txt
A proposed convention, not an established standard — Chrome Lighthouse added an audit for it, but no AI vendor has confirmed it reads the file yet.
Content freshness
We check for recently dated blog/article content. Unproven as a direct citation factor, but stale content is a common reason to be skipped for time-sensitive queries.
Content depth
Thin blog/content pages are rarely quoted. Not a confirmed ranking input, but substantive, regularly published content is one of the more defensible ways to earn citations.
Bot categorization (Search / Agent / Training) follows Cloudflare's AI Crawl Control classification. The llms.txt check matches Google Lighthouse's Agentic Browsing audit.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask
Are you affiliated with OpenAI, Google, or Cloudflare?+
No. This is an independent tool. It checks your site against publicly documented standards from Google and Cloudflare, and tests citations by asking AI engines category questions through their public web interfaces — no partnership implied.
What do you do with my email?+
Unlocking the full report emails you a copy and shares your address with us so we can follow up about it. If you sign in to the dashboard, we also email you when a monitored site's score drops. We never sell it.
Can you guarantee an AI engine will cite my site?+
No one can guarantee that — anyone who says otherwise is selling snake oil. What we can do is fix every technical reason a model can't parse or find you, which is the part actually in your control.
How is this different from regular SEO?+
SEO optimizes for ranking in a list of links. GEO optimizes for being the answer itself — structured data, entity clarity, and crawler access matter more than keyword density here.
